Job Description
We are actively searching for an experienced Roof Repair Technician that will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing damaged residential and commercial structures. Our ideal candidate will have extensive roof repair experience and have a great attitude with a strong desire to satisfy the customer.
The Shingle Master is located in Raleigh and serves the Greater Triangle area with an emphasis on, but not limited to, roofing, siding, and gutter projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair roof leaks.
- Communicate with the homeowner and the Project Coordinator about the progress and status of the repairs.
- Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Company vehicle and tools are provided so a driver’s license and valid insurance are required.
- 5+ years of roof repair experience preferred working with shingle, metal, and membrane.
- General understanding of different roofing systems and their proper installation is required.
- Ability to use all hand tools associated with roofing installation and repair.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have great customer service skills.
- Painting experience a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Bending, climbing, squatting, kneeling, twisting, and reaching heights on an intermittent basis for up to eight hours a day.
